Day 4 - No News

I'm sure everyone is as anxious as we are to get the final diagnosis. It's frustrating having to wait. So, since we heard nothing and no doctors have paid us a visit, we have to assume he'll be here tonight. It would just be nice to know for sure.

In the mean time, Courtney was finally able to explore her temporary home. She got up and took a short walk up and down the halls of her floor. Everyone here is very nice and sees to her every need. She is in really good hands.

We our so fortunate to be close to so many good friends. All you friends and family who wish they could be here right now to help care for our children, rest assured they have been well taken care of. I went to see them yesterday afternoon and they were all as happy as can be. I truly believe this an answer to a lot of prayers. As a parent, your first worry when confronted with an illness like this, is for your children and their well-being. It's such a huge comfort to know that they are doing well!

Here are some pics that I promised (The hearts are all well-wishes from the 3-12 year olds that Courtney helps with at church every Sunday. She's truly surrounded by LOVE):

Todd thank you for doing the blog. It is also helpful to all of us to know what is going on and what is needed. Corinne saw your pictures and said,"Thats Courtney." Even with your mask on, you still don't fool anyone. (Ha, Ha). Then Corinne said, "She not sick, the doctors make feel better." (For those of you who don't know, Courtney watched Corinne for me last year.) Corinne loves Courtney.
Hang tough, miracles take time.

Courtney -
I am so glad to see the hearts on your wall. Those came straight from our hearts to yours. The primary children love you and we can't wait to have you back with us. They enjoyed making those hearts for you and it brought tears to my eyes to see them in your room. We will miss you at the scout pack meeting tonight, but we will send you pictures. Your family is continually on our minds and in our prayers.
Love, Emily, Roberto & kids

Todd and Courtney,
The love that you share for each other and your little ones will keep you going strong. The brightness of your room will make you smile when you feel you have no strength but to gaze and gather in all the love they send. Sending best wishes and many, many prayers. Todd whenever I see a bald eagle I will send a special prayer with it as it soars high in the sky
